Great info – I would add to that, “Making sure that which you plan on doing is actionable.” Sometimes we want to do something but we don’t realize that it requires prerequisites or can’t be done immediately and so we put it off. Like “building a new website” – it’s not actionable until you define the first step.

Excellent point! I completely agree. Creating a specific action preferably one that is achievable in the very near future (30 minutes or less) is a very powerful way of breaking the cycle of procrastination.

The Pomodoro technique works fantastically in this regard.
