Apple didn’t invent the smartphone or the tablet. But they did reimagine both and reinvented them with the customer in mind.
Being first to market may be advantageous in some situations but it certainly didn’t seem to matter to Apple or Google.
What mattered in both cases was the ability to understand the customers needs and build a product that truly served them through an incredibly good customer experience.
